Some people are born without vas deferens. Other people are born without hearts.

TTC History

Jan. '09- Stop BC/start NPP

Apr. '09-Cycles go completely wack (mostly anovulatory)

Sept. 15 '09- First visit w/ RE: u/s shows mature follicle, given HCG to trigger ovulation

Sept. 24 '09- DH does first s/a

Sept. 28 '09- S/a result: azoospermia :'(

Oct. 15 '09- 2nd s/a: still zero

Jan. 11 '10- First visit w/ urologist: discover DH has CBAVD

Feb. 15 '10- Renal u/s for DH (both kidneys there!); negative results for DH's 36-panel CF testing

Apr. '10- DH gets accepted into grad school in CA; IVF put on hold

July 27 '10- Move to CA

Jan 12 '11- Consult w/ urologist; requests more thorough CF testing for me

Feb 10 '11- Consult w/ RE; do bloodwork for CF (negative! yay!) and start BCP

Feb 21 '11- Glucose tolerance test (negative!)

June 9 '11- Sonohysterogram: healthy uterus! :)

July 22 '11- Commence IVF! Start Lupron

Aug 4 '11- Start stims (Follistim & Menopur)

Aug 15 '11-MESA & Egg retrieval: 9 eggs retrieved, 6 fertilized

Aug 18 '11- 3-day transfer: 3 embryos transferred (other 3 embryos made it to freeze)

Aug 29 '11- BETA #1: 60 BFP!!!

Aug 31 '11- BETA #2: 206

April 26 2012- Our son is born!!!!
